Retrouvius

Designers' Block featured old shelves from The Patent Office in London available through Retrouvius, an architectural salvage and design business. After going to their site...WOW...I'm in love. How cute would that race rocker look in a bedroom or nursery? And I can't say enough about the desk, the lamps, the over-sized mirror...just WOW. Why must they be located in London?! Can we say trip?

also, i just got around to reading your earlier post on blogging etiquette and really appreciated it. so far, my experience with blogging has only been positive. i *did* have a tiny issue with folks spamming my comments in the beginning (by requesting that readers fill out some survey completely unrelated to the content of my blog), but i think (hope) i worked that out by adding the word verification feature.

  18. i really like this. it's a skightly steampunkish in feel, which i'm very fond of. most of the pieces in my home have a similar look, which we've gotten from the antique faires and whatnot.
