Food Photography

These photographs by Alison Miksch make me so hungry and thirsty! You can tell a good food photograph when the image makes you feel different senses like taste, touch, and smell. Thank you Dear Ada for posting this and many other wonderful delights.

    these are so great. it'smy dream to make my food look this good--my favorite is the burning toast in the coals (or is that meatloaf?)

    Ice. cream. slabs.

    How fabulous.

    I took pictures of a meal I had recently - mostly to send home to my sister as she had recommended the restaurant (atop an ancient fortress wall in Dubrovnik, Croatia to boot!)

    I can still taste the molten lava cake with white chocolate-thyme sauce.

    Mmmm.

    these all look so good! i have a friend who is married to a food stylist (yes that is a real job) and she said you would not believe the hideous things they do to the food they photograph to get a good shot. horror stories!
