Inspiring Interiors


The photographs by Joshua McHugh illustrate eclectic, rustic, and modern styles with inspiring interiors and vignettes. Simplicity is the common thread within his photos, yet they still maintain a certain level of comfort. Nothing like great interiors to brighten your day!

Speaking of happy days, thanks for all the warm thoughts on my Monday blues. Your comments were joyful reminders of the good things in life, and helped get me through the day. Looking forward to the week and weekend (of course)!

Something that got me laughing this morning was a post on Decorno with a link to the blog I Could Kill Her. I can't even describe it besides amusing rants - quite a read!

    I love the shot with the bell jar. It looks like there are lots of interesting objects under the glass.

    I Could Kill Her definitely looks like a tantalizing read!

    That top picture is so appealing!

    You know, I'm the kind of person who LOVES beautiful interiors but tends to feel so inadequate when I see them in a magazine or, lord help me, in real life in someone else's home...

    But, somehow, these manage to be beautiful and unintimidating. Thank you.

    PS: Do you live in a design porn home or is this blog like a wishlist? :-)

    My blog is more like inspiration for me and others. I currently live in an apartment - kind of like a transition phase. Lots of my stuff is still packed up. I'm very much looking forward to future home porn - working on that!

    I love that giant glass cloche, but I fear that it would have a short life at my house, since my cats feel that any flat surface (other than the floor of course) is all part of their Kitty Highway, and they would send it crashing...
