Play

While browsing through recent beach photos I found these gems. I forgot about these old arcade game photos I took during a stroll on the boardwalk. The first photo is of a video game that no longer worked. Seems like a suiting metaphor for becoming adults...we play as children and then unplug from this mindset as we grow up. Most of the time I still feel like a crazy adolescent...I mean...really am I an adult? Naa...not yet. Here's a reminder to play today!

Oh...finally (sort of) figured out TypePad and got a guest post up over at M&Co. Just a little introduction about my love for vintage finds...hope to get more posts up this week.

Play play play!

And I definitely do not feel like a grown-up. I keep wondering when it will hit me, but so far, I still feel like a kid!

  14. SKEE BALL!!!!!! Man, I used to love that as a kid. Thanks for the reminder to play today-- it's felt all about work so far!!! And yes, to answer your question on my blog, I feel sort-of like an energizer bunny sometimes. I think it's because I'm rather obsessive and bit of a work-a-holic. :) I'd be happy to share my design process with you, too! Maybe I'll do a post about it....

  33. Those skiball games were in funland arcade. I spend an entire summer in that place. I was a manager and actually slept in the little apartment upstairs sometimes. I enjoyed my time there.
