Magazines and blogs are buzzing with new fall fashion trends. From my understanding, fashion forms the latest trends and colors, and then it trickles down into other markets like home upholstery and bedding. I enjoy following the fashion scene to get an idea of what color trends to look for in home design, and Pantone takes the guess work out with their fashion color report 2008. What to expect this fall? Cool hues with bright, exciting undertones - love it - plus I'm a sucker for blues! Doesn't this color palette look similar to those vintage combs?! Weirrrdd!!

i know that yellow was so last season, but I just love all the mustard colors around! How funny that pantone comes out with a fashion color report :)

ReplyDeleteI'm loving that blue dress on the bottom with the ruffled collar, as well as the blouse top right. Blue is a good color for me and I tend to wear it a lot, so lucky for me it's a signature color for this season!!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to live on the edge and say lilac with a lot of grey (almost a slate colour) and "biscuit" i.e. beige with a brown undertone. If I'm right, what do I get? :-)

ReplyDeletei actually like that palette. more cool colors than just orange and yellow. but i did go trend shopping yesterday and saw a LOT of violets.
ReplyDeletei work for an accessories company and purple is a hot color for fall. i love these clothes and the color palette does look similar to the vintage combs!

ReplyDeleteI love the navy dress coat! I am partial to blues and grays. Not sure what the next hot color will be. I just read in Lucky magazine it is purple - definitely not my favorite!
