Painted Wonders



Explore these lovely delights by Jeana Sohn. There is no description of them on her website, but I assume they are painted eggs. I love how the objects are paired together and a story is formed between them.

  1. Lovely. Painted eggs are a part of my cultural heritage (slavic) - but more traditional. These are so unconventional, but show a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary artistic thought.

  5. OMG..they are so delicate..I wont let my kids anywhere near that! I wonder how many shells she had to break..or broken while painting halfway. Have a great weeekend :D

  18. These are beautiful! I have a friend who carves ostrich/emu eggs, and they're just gorgeous! I wish I had the patience/talent to craft like this!!!
