Starting to feel more alive after viewing the amazing work by Jacob Magraw. His paintings remind me of a three dimensional topographic map...each colorful layer building onto one another. They also have a "everything is connected" type of feeling. The natural and bodily formations seem familiar and somehow connected. Like the similar characteristics between tree roots and blood veins...such an interesting correlation. Do you get the same feelings - or am I still cracked out from the weekend?
i couldn't have said it better ;)! i really love the color palette, the cream paper really brings it all together beautifully.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. The colors are really beautiful and the shapes so organic. Nice find.
ReplyDeletei don't think you're cracked out from the long weekend. when i look at these paintings, the word "harmony" comes to mind.
ReplyDeleteHi there!
ReplyDeleteI agree what "josephine" said... harmony is the word. I love the soft color mixtures. It really fits to our fall season.
Just look at the mushroom, feels am in the woods picking them up.
Enjoy your day ahead!
