Going to the fleamarket this weekend? I wish I could join you, but looks like rain, rain, and more rain our way. Hopefully it will clear up on Sunday because Dave and I have tickets to the fair! For now let's enjoy the thrill of the hunt with these clever fleamarket photos by Anneke Jakobs. In the last photo arrangement fleamarket finds are removed - or at least that is how I interpret it. Hmm...how clever to try that in your own space...how many of your items are fleamarket finds?Happy hunting!
Oh yes, I hope so!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy times!
I just love your blog... something so different everyday... just thought I'd let you know...... you ARE my 5am morning coffee session. Thanks for always popping into my place... love hearing from you! A-M xx

ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!
Almost EVERYTHING I own is second hand. I really mean everything, too. (except underwear!)
ReplyDeleteYOu this is one thing we hardly have here, I've never been to a flea market, havent seen one either. 2nd hand goods arent very popular here...most goes into the bin..how sad.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend :D
I would love to go to the flea, but I have so much to do this weekend! Most of my finds come from thrift stores. I dont get to yardsales much, and the two local fleas are basically on the other side of town and the next town over.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you are away from the path that hurricane is bringing? I was checking out your Tetris Tiles on the right = )
ReplyDeleteI love flea markets, but rarely have time to go. I'm starting to see more finds appearing in my house, and my decor is definitely inspired by the "flea market look." I'm getting the itch to go now! :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the way these photos are displayed!!! I'll have to play around with this idea next time I go to Roundtop (our big flea)

ReplyDeletei LOVE flea markets. lovelove.
ReplyDeleteCatching up on blogging... Chicago got A LOT of rain this weekend, too. Did you make it to the flea market??? Just curious. My husband and I have collected several pieces from flea markets, thrift stores, curb-side discoveries, etc. I love the story behind the items, ya know. You just don't get the same narrative from a Pottery Barn piece.
ReplyDeleteThese are the coolest photos ever!
