I wish I was a Fashion Photographer

It's time for another round of I wish I was {insert cool job}. During my corporate (and job hunt on the side) days I like to dream about fun and creative jobs. Like...a fashion photographer. When I'm driving or wandering around I tend to see spots and think, "Oh! That would be a neat place for a fashion photo shoot!" It's like my mind thinks in photographs. Actually it's kind of fun and entertaining.

I would love to photograph places and scenes like fashion photographer Robert Diadual. His meticulous attention to detail brings photographs to life with unexpected places and intriguing story lines. Not to mention the added bonus of appealing clothes and models. So, yeah photographing beautiful places, clothes and people sounds pretty darn good!

  5. "my mind thinks in photographs"
thank you. for years, i have been trying to describe to people, random or family, how my brain works when they ask about my photography. this is a nice and understandable and to the point way of putting it. so i will give credit where credit is due the next time i use this line.

  25. You are so funny. I think that too, except I always, and I mean ALWAYS wish I had a camera (and a model) when I see a toilet or a fridge or a stove or a chair or whatever on the curb (Atlatans are always remodeling) I would dress up my model (husband) in a bathrobe with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth (pink bathrobe, too small) and make it like he is trying to fry an egg on the stove in the lawn...priceless. it would be a hysterical book...
