Cast Paper

Are you enjoying 2009?! Luckily I have the day off, which means the start of getting my sh*t together. But first let's take a look at Christine Spendley, a paper and multimedia artist who currently specializes in cast paper. Many of her designs are inspired from women who form support groups and often create life long friendships. The way casts and molds are created fascinate me. The idea of creating multiple objects from one form is very intriguing. Simple, yet complex ideas always excite me...just like this kind of work.
