I love these photographs by Ta. The photo of the boots is wonderful, and you know my love for scales. Don't they seem like a lovely send off for the weekend?
Do you have big plans this weekend? Mine are all still up in the air, but nothing major. Hopefully doing some much needed organization mixed with fun activities. I'm just glad the weekend is here!
Happy Weekend Diana! That boot photo is indeed gorgeous---and I have a special love for all things flute related as I played for years and years...and can we talk about how I would store EVERYTHING in cool wire baskets if I could!?
I love the boots too. They remind me of a pair I recently saw at the Goodwill but didn't get. Just a typical weekend of junking and family for me. Hope yours is wonderful!
these are wonderful, so warm. i'm partial to the flute because i can play one. we'd like to see 'slum dog millionaire' this weekend and go the the antique market. well, i want to do the last one ;). have a great weekend!
Lovely photos and you are right, they have a weekend feel to them. I too am planning on doing some organizing this weekend...something i have been pushing off for a while. Happy weekend to you!
ooo--these are all so lovely i'mnot sure which is my favorite! happy weekend to you lovely---i am getting ready for a big out of control-photo shoot on sunday--i get to relax NEXT weekend!
I love the wire basket and the flute photos- they are so serene. I've been feeling under the weather, so I imagine I will take it easy this weekend and try to get better. I hope that you have a great one!
I love 'em all! Perfect images to usher in a weekend! :) No big plans either...some baking and Sunday Dim Sum with friends. Easy peasy. Have a delightful one yourself! :)
Stunning in their simplicity, and truly beautiful. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. I spent all day cleaning my studio space. The clutter was becoming to distracting. Hoping to get some sewing done tomorrow. xo
These photos are fantastic, esp the Basket... this is Art... I have my eye on those boots there and now fondly remembering I can't play any musical instrument...
Hi Diana, I wanted to stop by quickly to thank you for your kind words. I have had a lot of hometown people reading this weekend and I know they appreciate the support of strangers and I hope it helps just a little in the healing process to know that the word of such a hazard is getting out there. Thanks. jae
It's a long weekend in my corner of the world (Australia Day tomorrow, yay!), but no plans at all. Just lots of tea, lots of relaxing and a few good movies.
The photos are gorgeous by the way, the lighting is so lovely!
they are really nice, I love the gorgeousness in the everydayness in them... hm my weekend is slowly comming to an end.. two more hours of day light. Had not much plans, nothing unsual, was invited for a lovely lunch today, went to the claycafe yesterday, swimming ... am now reading blogs- hope i can convince O. to take me for dinner when he comes back from the rugby..
this weekend: did some cross-border shopping at niagara falls (hit up target, wondered WHY they haven't made their way to canada yet?!), spent some time visiting family there, and today am going on a driving adventure to take advantage of the sunshine-y day. sweet!
I hope you had a good weekend! I love the photos because they are such simple everyday items, with the exception of the flutist. They are made exceptional when seen through such talented eyes.
Thank you for taking the time to comment. Even if I don't get a chance to respond please know that I read and appreciate your thoughts. Every comment counts!
