Comfort Interiors

Hello comfy bed...hello green bath tub...hello big, colorful door...and hellllooo porch hiding in the trees. Ah yes, the porch...tree house...whatever you are...looking so pretty up there. The structure appears to be literally built around the tree branches. How neat is that?! I bet it makes a great getaway. Add some Chai tea and Wi-Fi in there and I'm all set.

These inspiring interiors and places were brought to life by Gabi Tubbs, a talented stylist and art director. Another career to add to the "I wish I had your job" list!

P.S. I love colorful doors...a simple change with a dramatic and inviting impact. Do you feel love for colorful doors too?

  5. I'm into that rose fabric-wrapped canvas thingy above the fireplace mantel. Gives me an idea on how to use my otherwise seemingly useless vintage fabric collection . . .

  12. I do love colorful doors! Especially when they are surrounded by vines and brick and there is a lovely treat filled basket in front. The door and the tree house are my favorites.

  13. I've been DYING to paint our door! Right now it's black, which is nice. But I'm thinking a red or dark green. Since our house is a suburban ranch-style, I can't really do a pretty blue-green or anything like that. But I do love some color on the front door!

  15. Oh yes, I love colorful doors. My mother in law has a purple door that I'm in love with. I live in an HOA neighborhood, and could never get away with painting my door. =(

  16. These rooms all feel like they are part of homes, rather than just houses. That tree house is so fantastic - never mind the kids, I want one for me!

  25. OMG those last three shots of green literally take my breath away. Stunning! I want a treehouse and a key lime pie bathroom and a fresh batch of flowery linens outside my pistachio green door! And yes, I do love a colorful door. Ours is red and I swear it sold me on the home:)
