The new painting series “Of Dreams and Memories” by Susan Najarian beautifully incorporates original photographs from the 1920's, a vintage map and colorful balloon silhouettes. I enjoy how the focus is put on the photographs through the stark contrast of bright colors against open white space. This series also nicely fuses together Susan Najarian's love for encaustic painting and vintage hand crafted items. Wouldn't these paintings be a great way to display old photographs or create new dreams?

These are lovely!
These are great ... such a cute concept. I like the second photograph with the blue balloons coming out of the guys' heads!
HA! This is so similar with what I did for my balloon/Jesus shot at http://www.flickr.com/photos/malenmoalboal/4220639513/. Although this one's a bit more Dali-inspired.
