Reddish Studio

View the amazing designs from Reddish Studio, which was founded in 2002 by industrial designers Naama Steinbock and Idan Friedman. Their motto - to focus "on keeping its designs clear and intriguing" and to spend "most of the time helping objects feel better about themselves." Aww...how lovely.

Yakuza Table - A digitally tattooed wooden table. The wood texture acts as skin, becoming a platform for expressing a strong cultural and personal identity. Amazing.

X-Table - A cross stitched table. Handcrafted with care, the hard wood is softened by the touch of embroidery. Absolutely love this idea - clever, crafty, and unique.

Prima Ballarina - a subtle coiled one-legged table. While the traditional wooden turned leg is made by subtracting material, the prima ballerina's leg is made by adding material, coiling thread around a pole. I love the textile addition.

Added this one for the spring. Buttercup - The spontaneous picnic dress made of a plastic bid, kitchen towel, and table cloth. Imagine what your friends would say!

Check out more great designs at Reddish Studio. I love the X-Table and Prima Ballerina table - they are simple in design and pay a homage to traditional textiles like needlepoint.
