We've discussed novel-like business cards, but what about your blog? Do you have a business card for your blog (or insert hobby)? Whenever I discuss Please Sir in a conversation people want to know the web address, which can be hard to remember with the whole blogspot.com extension. I'm debating about getting separate business cards made up with the blog address.
Please Sir isn't a business, but it would be nice to give interested readers a reminder of the web address. Just a thought and wondered if anyone has gone through this effort?
How about the neat business card designed by Behance Network? The card was created to look empty until pushed open to reveal a bracket that frames the information. Clevverrr!

fab! love the idea!
My blog isn't on my cards either :( It's linked from my domain though, and that IS on the cards, so it all works out :)
I have been toying with the idea of business cards to put in with my Etsy orders with the blog address on them for that exact reason.. well, and to have because when I'm out and people ask about my blog, it would be nice to give them something written down. hmm..
Tizzalicious - great that it all works out!
Krissy - I agree especially since you have an etsy store - would be great to get a business card with orders!
Oh yeah - any one have super awesome business cards they want to share? Would love to see them - email me martini.diana@gmail.com
I do have one, but it's because i got used to having "calling cards" when i lived in the UK. The place I worked didn't really do business cards (it's not ubiquitous like in the US), so I made my own. And when I moved back to the US, I needed something to let people know where I was living.
Thank you! I have been dying to get some cards made up. I don't think mine would need to be this fancy, but I think we should do it!
I think it is great idea. I wish I had some to give out with my etsy address and blog address. I don't know why but it seems daunting to have them designed, etc. so I have been hand writing them.
Funny you should ask. I've been thinking of this lately and will probably have something simple printed up. I want to continue with interviewing shop owners and artists, so having a business card with the blog address is an easy way to introduce the whole idea.
i find a pen and a hand work swell. but i support the business card idea, i think it's a good one - esp a clever, funny one like this.
I just found your blog thru Bliss. Love it! And I think having a blog business card is a fabulous idea!!!
It is so weird that you posted about that. I have been thinking about that very thing all week! I think it is a great idea. Go for it....I'm going to do it too.
I have considered it and would like to do a run of letterpress cards when I have the money.
Hey, this is a very valid question! Oi! I don't remember if I put my blog on my business cards or not. I think I did. It's listed right underneath my etsy shop :)
By the way, that business card is AWESOME!
I ordered some for my blog today... not knowing whether it was a weird thing to do or not.
that's actually a really good idea!
okay. this post got me inspired, and i'm totally gonna work on that...on top of the many other things i need to work on :P
I'm still working on business cards, but once I decide on what I'm getting...the blog will so be included :)
I think it's very important for bloggers to have business cards . . . it's a great way to drive more traffic to your site!!
Check out www.ooprint.com for 100 FREE blogger business cards . . . they have a customizable tag cloud!!
I'm glad others were thinking the same thing...guess it is not so weird ! Thanks guys!
I think it's a great idea! If you don't already have a business connected with your blog, it's a fast and easy way to give the address. I've recently added my blog address onto my existing business cards and that gets the job done too. :-) I bet you'll make some super-cute ones!
I do have blog business cards, and it's really quite a convenient way for interested people to remember my web address, especially since it's different from my blog title.
Oh, I've been thinking about this recently too...thanks for posing the question...it's so great to see what other people are thinking on this topic. I'm going to add my blog address on my next run of business cards for sure.
