Pegboard Creations

Can you believe these lovely works were created and inspired by construction pegboard? That's right...pegboard...the stuff used in retail shops and garages. Sigrid Calon uses pegboard in a whole new way to create unique wall art and floral wall dividers. She also translates the pegboard patterns into wonderful fabric creations. And how about the font stitched into the pegboard? What a way to write a message in your own space! This inspirational technique would look great around the home.

She is fantastic. I love when someone takes the everyday things, and turn them into something special. Thanks for the link Pleasie. I need to relook at pegboard today at Lowes.

Great find, reminds me of the intricate designs made with two or three colors of mosiac tile. The patience these artists have astounds me!
