Nope, it's not Sunday, but I couldn't bear to change the name! I've missed my vintage find posts, so I'm glad to finally get this one together. At a yard sale, my Mom found this lovely box previously used as packaging for stockings. The BEST part about it? They are DIANA stockings! Who wouldn't want to have stockings named after them?!
I love the joyful lady, the retro text, and all the goodies inside the stockings box. I use the box to hold jewelry and pins, like these vintage hair pins from my grandmother. The pins are purely for looks...I doubt I could pull these off! The photograph, which was taken outside an antique shop, completes this Sheer Delight collection.

I love the arrangment that you made as well. I would have snapped up that find. Love it. The colors are so very pretty too. I have to go yard saling this weekend.
yes, this box is great! what a find!
i love those pins, especially the gold and pearl one. i'd love to have a pin collection too...
EEK! :)
I well remember Diana fashion stores. They did have the best stockings. Even if you didn't buy your clothes there, everyone bought stockings from them. That box is quite a nab. The envelopes stockings come in today just aren't future collectables! LOL
How cute...and it's your namesake!
what a gorgeous box, just perfect for you!
(I've also added you to my blog list if thats ok)

Diana stockings! That *is* "sheer delight." :-)
with all those beautiful things...I'm actually drawn to the photograph of the chair...it's stunning. What a fun box in general, though. It's a great gift!
That box of stockings is FABULOUS!!
There is something about old packaging that modern packaging design totally misses the boat on. That package is so elegant. Very nice post.
These are so pretty! And all so gorgeous together!!!
PS- I'm adding you to my blogroll... love your site!
