Aren't these birds great? I want to line them up all over my house. These delightful, ceramic birds were created by Mignon Khargie and her 7-year-old daughter Hannah. Mignon said she made about five birds, and Hannah did the rest, which she called bird people. What an amazing collaboration! You can also check out their design process for the birds here and here.
I really love the colors and how they are grouped together...I want to carry them around in my pocket!

I love birds, I have them all over my house.
Birdies make my heart sing. And if I had a bunch like that to look at, I would be in song all day. Thanks Pleasie, I love them so much.
I love those birds... and those prints before... FUN animal post!
Please, Sir... may I have another colourful animal... :)
I think I am in love...really. What a wonderfully amazing thing for a mother and daughter to create together. I want one, make that 20, of these.
These are just the sweetest things. What a great team!
omg, so cute! and i love the design team. :)
these are precious!
These are FANTASTIC! I would love a bunch lined up in a windowsill or across a mantle.
I LOVE these! What a great story, too!
That is an adorable project! My daughter would be all over that.
We would have birds EVERYWHERE! (Good thing they are colorful or we might end up channeling Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds.)
what a fun and cute idea! it adds such a simple and quaint touch. just perfect :)
The grouping on that table is pretty fabulous!
I agree - what a great idea for kids!
Me too, me too! I want them all over my bedroom :)
I love them! they are just gorgeous
: )
Oh my -- I love these! I have a slight obsession with birds (and leaves, and linen, and...) -- these are wonderful!
The colors of these little birds are so vivid! A line of birds could totally replace a table runner, too.
Those are so cute!
I'm having heart palpitations. These are fantastic -- elegant and primitive at the same time.
Love these :)
