I Can Smell the Sawdust

It's hard not to notice the modern lines and fresh from the woodshop appeal of these furniture pieces by Matthew Hilton. Hilton's company was launched in September 2007 and made it's first Licence agreement with De La Espada. The pieces shown here are the first of a growing number of high-quality products which will be made in relatively small quantities, using hand-skills based manufacturing.

These are classic, quality built pieces that add the starting foundation to any interior, plus I could see them lasting forever. My favorite is the last piece which is called the I Beam Side Table - simple and unique.

All of the pieces are gorgeous but I have a weakness for chairs. No lack of seating in my house.

I love the dark table in photo #2.

It strikes me as beautiful and utilitarian. The wood grain is unreal.
