Play

While browsing through recent beach photos I found these gems. I forgot about these old arcade game photos I took during a stroll on the boardwalk. The first photo is of a video game that no longer worked. Seems like a suiting metaphor for becoming adults...we play as children and then unplug from this mindset as we grow up. Most of the time I still feel like a crazy adolescent...I mean...really am I an adult? Naa...not yet. Here's a reminder to play today!

Oh...finally (sort of) figured out TypePad and got a guest post up over at M&Co. Just a little introduction about my love for vintage finds...hope to get more posts up this week.

Play play play!

Beautiful shots!
And I definitely do not feel like a grown-up. I keep wondering when it will hit me, but so far, I still feel like a kid!

SKEE BALL!!!!!! Man, I used to love that as a kid. Thanks for the reminder to play today-- it's felt all about work so far!!! And yes, to answer your question on my blog, I feel sort-of like an energizer bunny sometimes. I think it's because I'm rather obsessive and bit of a work-a-holic. :) I'd be happy to share my design process with you, too! Maybe I'll do a post about it....

Hi Diana, thanks for popping by my blog the designer in question's talent really lies in his creating textiles. i really hope he continues to move in that direction.

Read you guest post, quite lovely, really loved the wallpaper pattern in the last pic.

Those skiball games were in funland arcade. I spend an entire summer in that place. I was a manager and actually slept in the little apartment upstairs sometimes. I enjoyed my time there.
