During my early morning commute something new was in the air...could be fall, the blaring of my mixed CD, or the possibility of a new week. I love to savor a good morning. Nothing like fresh air and great design to wake up your senses on a Monday. San Francisco based illustrator Hannah Stouffer "finds a great deal of comfort in imagery- its an admiration that is often times overwhelming. She has an infatuation with icons that reflect and embrace specific eras and genres. Luxury, royalty, muscle cars, heavy metal, the animal kingdom, femininity, horse races and foliage are all somehow connected in her work by embellishments, pattern and decoration."
Love it! Check out more amazing work on Stouffer's site and etsy store.

sounds like a good monday morning :)
Her work is so intricate. Love it!
those are so wonderful with many things to explore within each one. i love the first one, which looked like a chandelier when i first saw it.
These are so beautiful and I just love the contrasting colors -- so rich! Enjoy your Monday...
wow! you really have to look closely at each one to see all of the hidden details. i especially love the first one!
Wow, how gorgeous! The longer you stare at them, the more you see in each piece. That moose is my favorite, for sure.
These are beautiful! They also remind me a bit of the music inspired art work done in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury area during the 1960's.
incredible! i just came across her work recently, too, and instantly loved it. great post!
This is fresh. Thanks.
very interesting. thanks for sharing.
Oh gosh thank you for sharing this ! Sooo stunning! I'm overwelmed with admiration too ;-)!!
This is cool. I love the second one - what is that? an antelope? These look really time consuming.

Gorgeous! Especially love the first one!

Oh my goodness!! I love all these! What wonderful details!
oh la la...love these. And I so love good mornings like that. You're right-sometimes all it takes is a new CD mix. Hope the rest of your week is just as amazing!

:)
These are beautiful, rich and impressive! Gorgeous, thanks for introducing her work to me.
I love to read about your gratitude for life, living in the moment and savouring it. As 'Heidi Clare' posted a short while ago, "Gratitude turns what we have into enough and more". Sounds like a great start to your week! A-M xx
O pretty. I like them.
I like that you can look at her pieces many times and always see something new.
A lovely start to the week! I especially like the second piece!
Thanks so much for your comments - I agree her work gets better every time I look at it!
These are really lovely. I particularly like the top one.
