Vacation is great...but the coming back to reality is always the hard part. My weekend was nice, but now I'm trying to recover and catch up at work. Just checking in to say "hello, how did your weekend go?"
I didn't take many pictures this weekend, but still have some from last weekend to share...hopefully later this afternoon. Even bloggers need a break right?
Believe me, I'd rather be swinging on a hammock while sharing an amazing view with all of you. Put some wireless on the porch, get my laptop and a cup of sweet tea - yep I would be all set!

It's strange coming back, my vacation was so wonderful and nice. (And I also didn't take many photos, it ruins the moment to stop and take photos so I would rather just have the memories.)
welcome back! I sure wish I could be on that hammock about now. Why is it so hard to come in to work?!?
I love this image, the hammock looks so inviting.
PS I think we should all advocate for a 4 day work week & a 3 day weekend!
Welcome home and I love the hammock too. Glad you had some R&R.
I wouldn't mind swaying around in that hammock myself.....
I used to have the lounge chair just like that in Abu Dhabi. they are great. I prefer that one to hammock. :)
Hope you had a well deserved break. My week has been rather crazy.
Thanks - I'm ALL for 4 day work weeks!!!
love the hammock. we were mr. & mrs. boring this weekend, which is a good break, but not good for blogging ;)!
welcome back dear! I could pretty much spend the rest of the day on that hammock...I will be heading off to vacation a week from today....
that's so true about vacation - it's always so hard to come back to reality! enjoy your tuesday :)
This pic reminds me of my parents beach house in NC! I want a vacation!
BTW - did you see I nominated you for a "Brilliant Blogger Award"!
Oh gosh, I wouldn't mind spending some time on the hammock. gorgeous setting. But alas, back to work. Glad you had a good weekend!
Oh yes, the only bad part about a vacation is having to end it. Glad that you had a nice break!
Oh I know what you mean! Just got back last night from our little trip and now I'm struggling to get back into the swing of things. Glad you had a great time!!
Stopped dead in my tracks when I saw that photo. And scurried through your post to see WHERE on earth you vacationed so I could book a room there, stat! haha...
I know how you feel about coming back from time off. You always end up needing MORE time off.
hi, glad you had a good weekend!
: )
Welcome back! And I would LOVE to be swinging on that hammock enjoying that view! So when are you going to book a vacation like that for all your blogger friends? lol
Our weekend again, was nothing but rain, rain and more rain! These hurricanes need to think of an alternate route!
ooooo. just noticed the scrabble pillows. those are darling!
Glad you had some R&R but I'm always glad when you're back finding more cool stuff.
i snoozed for a little longer than i should have this morning. getting back in the routine is always rough, especially when you find temptations like a lovely porch & hammock.
Oh, that is EXACTLY where I wish I could be right now. With a tall, icy glass of lemonade...
hey welcome back! i'm glad you had a great weekend!
oh i wish i had a nice porch like that...
welcome home!!!
that image is a dream...
String up another hammock, pour the tea... I'm joining in!
it's always hard to come back to the real life, at least for me. work is just so over rated. : )
Totally know what you mean -- I didn't even go anywhere and getting back to work is SO hard (especially working nights for three more days). Here's to the next break! :)
The big takeaway from the long weekend: I NEED A VACATION. Or maybe an extended sabbatical. Just some way to sleep in every morning and watch lots of TV. :)
Welcome back from your vacay. Returning to work is so so hard! xo
THAT is a porch I would hate to leave. Great pic.
I know what you mean about vacation. I took a week off 2 weeks ago, and it took me all last week to catch up again. I feel like I never took any time off. We need to move to one of those countries where they just close down for the whole month of August....
Welcome back, lovely! Can't wait to see those pics:)
Oh, boy, I could really use about half an hour in that hammock right now, with that view! Gorgeous. -Julia
Glad your back, and good to hear you had a nice time away!
That is some serious R&R as I am sure much overdue- nice to have you back, been more of a lurker reader but wanted to say hi!
If I could only jump into that picture! Heaven.
Welcome back! Of course bloggers need a break too - take you time!
