In some areas the chilly fall weather brings you indoors snuggling under the covers. But, here in North Carolina the fall season brings the enjoyment of the brisk outdoors. The summers can get extremely hot, so when fall come around it's nice to get outdoors and enjoy the cooler temperatures. These images from House Doctor make me savour cool nights of fall where grilling, gardening, and even outdoor showering are still acceptable!

I love these images...I'm usually an "indoors snuggling under the covers" type of girl being from the north, but fall in NC sounds wonderful!

Oh, love al fresco anything! My husband's parents' house on Cape Cod has an outdoor shower and everyone uses it, well into the late fall.
Ah! I'm visiting NC for a weekend at the beginning of October, this makes me excited to hit it at such a nice time!
even in the fall, it's nice to e outside - and even if it's chily - nothing a heater or a bonfire can't cure!

it's been cooler here (louisiana) lately, and i find myself wanting to be outside more than i did when it was hot. don't like dealing with all the sweating and humidity. :-?
oh, but i can't wait til it gets cold enough to stay in and snuggle. i love it! :-D
