I can't get enough of these light bulbs by Hitomi Ifuku. The concept is simple and stunning. The whole idea is amazing - the image of a natural creature providing electricity, the containment of the creature, and the resulting fragility and impact. Truly inspiring.

WHOA! Those are amazing!
these are gorgeous--LOVE.
Wow. I need these to replace every bulb in my house. Can you imagine being a guest at someone's house, going to turn off your bedside lamp, and seeing that detail! Gorgeous.
Wow! I love those! I want to replace all the bulbs... OH Oh oh! I got it, I'll replace all my smurf cocoons (we got a new chandelier and bought energy efficient bulbs that happen to be blue-ish).
I love this! Have a wonderful weekend :)
Lovely!! They remind me of bulbs my grandmother used to have when I was a kid with roses in them. I'll see if I can dig up an old photo.

I guess they wouldn't actually work? I wouldn't dare to use them.. will have to be just in a display cabinet for our eyes only? Pretty as!

I soooo love this idea! Great find!
So beautiful. You probably can't see it through a shade, though?
I imagine that it could cast a pretty shape or shadow. Lovely.
