Door Bling

Pretty door knobs get me every time. I wonder - if you buy pretty door knobs do they have to go on every door in your house? I wish for every door knob to be equally pretty, but that could get expensive.

In the meantime I enjoy these lovely door knobs from Graham and Green, which is based in England...they need to bring some of that goodness overseas!

I lived in a house once that had original crystal doorknobs on every single door. It was magical.

*I'm loving the vertical ones though ...never seen those

Oh yeah, getting every door knob uniformly pretty IS expensive! I am currently doing the rounds trying to price up a uniform look without having to extend the mortgage. Who would have thought it would all be so expensive! Famous words of a first time house builder! A-M xx

I love Graham and Green and wish they had a location in the States too! These are all great knobs.

And I here you about describing your style! Oh, it gets me every time. "A little Modern-Traditional and Eclectic, uh..." I like your new concept- "Evolving." Very nice :)

like drawer pulls, i could collect these just to look at—not even for use necessarily!

I am so lucky to live in an old victorian apartment building with pressed copper knobs *and* hinges on the bedroom and bathroom doors. The closets are bifold and have ugly knobs so I replaced the ones on my bedroom closet doors with mother of pearl in a grid pattern. Its a nice little modern touch and was worth every penny. Its like earrings finishing an outfit.

I wonder if our landlord would mind if we changed all the doorknobs in our place. Love these

I love door bling! I got mine at Anthropologie and everyone thinks they're the real (vintage) deal. It's an easy, relatively inexpensive way (mine were $30 a set) to liven up your space...I think they'd be a great way to perk up a rental apartment, too.

thanks for sharing this yummy bling!

:-)
