Pedlars

You can't help but smile when visiting the webstore of Pedlars, a small family business based in Great Britain. I was impressed with their selection of English vintage finds because they vary from items found in the United States. Like the Routemaster numbers taken from the destination blinds of London’s now-deceased Routemaster buses and the London Underground carriage maps. The wooden perpetual calendar is also a favorite on my list. I never get tired of looking at fun vintage finds!

heavens to betsy. this makes me want to go back to England...and instead of hitting the tourist shops, maybe dig a little deeper and find shops like this.

ohh.. I love.
All those rich colors and deep dark wood. Very fallish and lush.
I want that calendar.

Oh goodness. I just adore the suitcases. I have a few myself, which I should photograph. And I love how you can see old penguin books out of focus in one of the photographs.

If I weren't such a wimp when it comes to luggage, I'd get some hard cases just like those and cover them with stickers.

at the risk of sounding simple, is an underground carriage route the predecessor of the subway system?

Very cool! The suitcases rock, and so does the wooden calendar. It's neat to see retro things from other countries, too.
