Vintage Finds

Ohh...I missed you guys, but I had a wonderful weekend full of beach wedding fun. I was so exhausted last night that I didn't get a chance to load any photos. On the way home we were stuck on a broken drawbridge for 2 hours, which was the ONLY way to get off the beach. It felt like Survivor Drawbridge series...if we were there any longer we would have started to form alliances and kick people off the bridge. Luckily no one was kicked off or eaten...we left with a "we stuck through it, let's keep in touch and good luck" kind of farewell. I hope to post photos soon...must get off beach time!

In other thoughts - last weekend I saw these vintage cake stands and I'm obsessed. I love the three tier look - perfect for pretty cupcakes and cookies. The cupboard is another great piece - don't you love the hardware? And of course...I had to throw in vintage radios and fans.

Hope the start of the week has been good - let's catch up!

Now, I like those cake dishes, especially the ones in the photo on the right. The radios are fantastic. (I don't own any, but I love looking at vintage radios, clocks and phones.)

"Survivor Drawbridge." HILARIOUS!

And I love those old fans so much... wish I could replace my ugly ceiling fans with some giant versions of those. They don't make anything like that, do they?

Yes, lets. Catch up that is. Now I'll just step away and grab us some cups from my dresser - isn't it fabbo. A little warm? Just flick on that fan there. Now what kind of tea do you like, pick one of the herbal bags from that lidded basket over there.
