Dream

I never get tired of the photographers by James Merrell. Each photo is a look into a lived in and loved home. Wake up in a sunny bedroom, drink tea in a sweet breakfast nook, and cook breakfast in a happy kitchen. Oh to dream...

I've been day dreaming more often these days. Like a little escape from the daily grind. Do you think having dreams is good? To fantasize about a better life, way or object?

A girl always has to hold her dreams close to her heart. Dream on girl. And I will gladly do it in that bedroom.

mmm, that kitchen IS very happy.
i think dreaming is a good thing. it causes you to constantly look for ways to improve and never allows you to be complacent. and that is a good thing.

I'm always dreaming -- sometimes I wonder if I do it too much! But really, I don't think you can ever dream enough :)

I think having a little time to dream every day is critical. I always dream best when I'm walking, or sitting on the bus.

i've been a major daydreamer ever since i was a kid. i could probably get a PhD in daydreaming, if that were possible. dreams nourish my soul, keep me sane, and help direct me. i wouldn't be the happy person i am today without them.

Merrell's work is some of my favourite, almost like you've happened upon an abandoned world, frozen in time.

As for dreams, I find that I only remember the disturbing ones. I wish I could remember the pleasant ones too! I'm sure they're out there somewhere...

Love these photos. I especially love the frame arrangement in the last photo.

Daydreaming is wonderful. Fantasizing about a better life helps you understand what you want in life and may give you the courage to go after it!

the last photo, of the frames fit together like puzzle pieces, is wonderful!

daydreaming is good unless you're boiling water or in heavy traffic :)

Where would we be without dreams?! :)

I wholeheartedly believe having dreams is good- they provide a great escape and motivator!

i think it's good if you are "following" the dream even in the smallest of ways.

otherwise, it might have the opposite effect.

i'm dreaming of having that bedroom in the third pic some day! so pretty—i love the use of yellow and blue with a hint of green amongst all that white!

I love how light and airy these rooms are. Very peaceful and clean and simple (yet complex, too). And that light fixture is awesome in the last photo!

Oh girlie, these photos are perfect to conjure up more dreams! I love that second photo down. I would slip right in, pull the covers up and dip into my new book!

XOXO

If we don't have dreams, all that's left is nightmares!

i'm totally a daydreamer. they excite and inspire, and sometimes show you a little more of what you want and who you are.

(and i love the cluster of picture frames in that last picture!)

Love these rooms - daydreaming about them right now! I think I spend the majority of my time daydreaming. I suspect most bloggers are daydreamers as well. I suppose blogging is a form of daydreaming, isn't it?
