Inspiring Interiors

Inspiring interiors always get me excited...those ohh and ahh moments in my head are such a thrill. What can I say - I'm easily amused! Currently I can't get enough of the interiors on VT Wonen, a Dutch interior design magazine. My favorite feature on their site is the Color of the Week with a new color and accompanying design photo each week. Pictured are some of my favorite color combos and interior designs. I had a hard time picking which ones to post because they all have gorgeous styling and endless ideas. The piled books, the fun plates, and oh that girly kid room! Check out more here.

I have been seeing lots of gray lately. I am beginning to like it. Love Danish design. So very nice.

Sigh I wish my house looked like that. So beautiful. I do have gay walls in some of my rooms now; glad to see it in these images.

Pink! Grey! Fave colors in the world! Can't stop staring! And apparently can't stop using exclamation marks!

Seriously though, this website is big trouble...just when I thought my hard drive couldn't get more loaded with gorgeous interiors images, you come up with yet another brilliant find!

Of course, these are all gorgeous. But the little girl's room is my fave.

Such creative uses for plates. We have a wall of single tiles - from a rejected batch that an artist made - but our plates are allll plain. I love the idea of making freestanding mosaics, though.

I love those white, grey and red combos! Too bad I always find myself painting really bright colors on my walls.

For some reason my aesthetic tells me to build stark rooms with cool colors and hard lines, but I know that I'm much more comfortable in a fluffy warm room like these. I guess I'll never learn.

Oh Diana! You're the best. I have been struggling with how to decorate my daughter's bedroom. I want to use pink but not in a sickly way. Pink and grey - perfect!
