Lake

I want to share with you the lake I cross over during my morning and evening commute. For me, the lake is a daily reminder of the natural beauty and activity taking place each season. How the leaves change, the birds swim, the water moves, and the fog lifts. As much as I dread going to work I love seeing the lake...like taking a deep breath each day. Do you have a special site or place you enjoy?

The fall season was beautiful this year and one evening after work I was lucky enough to catch the leaves in action. I love the contrast of fire reds and oranges against the cool blue of the lake. Then the sun began to set creating sparkles along the water ripples. Oh lake house...where are you?

On a side note, the yard sale was great...even in my sickness. Thanks for all your well wishes - hope you had a great weekend!

Love it too. Glad you are better and the sale went well. I will help design the lake house. Does the lake house come with Sandra Bullock?

You are so truly fortunate to see this natural beauty each day...

In answer to Jan's question -- NO NO NO Sandra Bullock - BUT you can find Keanu Reeves there at times!

Gorgeous! How wonderful you get to see such a sight every day.

Our local woods are a nice place, as well as places in our travels far from home. But my favorite place is home with my family :)
