As far as decor...I'm not really a frou-frou, romantic type of gal. Sure I love romance - the cuddling and swooning, but when it comes to styling I'm a bit more kitsch, vintage and even modern. Yet, I can appreciate a romantic layer added to a room like in these photographs by Tom Baker. They remind me that it's nice to add a touch of pink and a dash of feminine wallpaper. Oh and I had to post the screened-in porch - you're welcome Mom (she is a screen porch fanatic)!

omg so beautiful.
I don't know where you find all this WONDERUL STUFF
i ENVY YOUR BLOG!!
YOU ARE FANTASTIC!
I love that you're not "Frou-Frou." I love this porch especially :) I do like a touch of the feminine and I'm a sucker for pink... does that make me frou frou?
THANK YOU! Love your support! Oh and Julia - no, that just makes you a lady...hehe!
These are wonderful! I'm not overly "frou frou" either, but these little touches are gorgeous -- just the right amount :)
Love ya - Mom
Oh Diana, I love that first picture. So, so pretty. I think that might just have made my day. (I'm easily had today!)
LOVE that bathroom! And I'm with your Mom on the porch thing - have always fancied one of those, with a swing... :)
that bathroom is swoon-worthy.
i like the bedroom. reminds me of my room... : ) and, i am not usually a frou frou person.
Love the porch and the bath tub-
i love the blues, including the ceiling in the screened porch. we did the same thin in a couple of interior areas in our apartment that don't have windows and it really does brighten up the space vs. white.
These images are beautiful! Am all about romance, and these rooms are just lovely! Especially love the top photo -- why have I never thought about perfume bottles on the mantle?
xo
I love the arrangement of perfume bottles on what looks like a fireplace mantle. Reminds me of my grandmother's powder room. :)
oh dear, i would love to have that white wood floor in my house. dream dream dream...
Great bath, and I adore that porch!
Oh, the porch is awesome! (I'm not really a screened-in porch fanatic, but I AM a porch fanatic! :-) I really liked the simplicity of the bathroom.
wall paper is making a comeback i guess, but i do so want to get rid of the ugly green stuff in my room. love that outside screened in porch makes me think of that movie "somebody's getting married" with anne hathaway.
I love that old fashion rustic look like you know..stuff belongs there..like that porch. Of course, I've had dreams having a home in a cave too. It needs lots of pillows to warm it up.
me too...the whites and blues have me swooning all over the place! xo t
I want that bedroom...
So romantic! I love the soft pink and blue together in that first image.
What lovely colors and textures. These spaces look so inviting. It's a chilly night in Chicago. I am totally up for good conversation and mug of tea on one of those porch seats...
I love the bathroom..esp that is has a chair nearby for someone to talk to you while you bathe! Or someone to brush your hair?
I love these beautiful, restful interior shots you have been finding - each one is like an exhalation of calm.
(and the current love, customized felt slippers? holy moly.)
that bedroom is SO beautiful.
ostrich feathers, perfumes and pretty wallpapers, exquisite!!!
love the porch and the bathroom!!!!
thanks for visiting Diana although i have been out mostly....
i wrote again today in my blog... would love to see you again.
LOVE this post! The bathtub picture is my favorite!
love the porch.
i'm personally not big on romantic styling myself, but i do enjoy *looking at* such things.
the shot of the bathroom reminds me of another shot you posted...
I love screened in porches too. *sigh*
I'm having so much fun going through the photos on Inspace. Thanks for the find!
Especially stunning! I apparently have a lot of catching up to do!!!
the porch is charming, and the wallpaper is so delicate and eye-catching, I really like it
I'm with you, although not too, too modern. Those pictures are divine!! A covered porch {lakeside no less} is my ultimate dream!
I love the cozy chair next to the claw foot tub. I kinda want a big clawfoot tub in my imaginary fantasy bedroom.
Feathers as decor AND a new portfolio to drool over? You must REALLY love me today!
Let the drooling commence...
Just looking at these lovely rooms make me feel like I'm on holiday!
