Vintage Find

Hello hello...did you have a good weekend? I'm excited because it's Thanksgiving week, which means I'm only going to work two days - yesss! Oh, and of course the whole family and turkey time time too. Yum.

Here's another addition to the vintage finds category...these lovely framed birdies found at a local fleamarket. I'm not sure how "vintage" they are, but they have that great kitsch feel. The wooden frames also add a special touch. I photographed the frames on an amazing patch of moss growing in Dave's yard. I thought the dark green moss was a great accent, and I love the way moss feels...all squishy and soft. Wouldn't it be neat to have a moss covered wall? Hmm...don't think the landlord would like that.

To a fun and festive week ahead...

These are cute little birdies.

I am actually dreading this week b/c it means not being able to work while family is around. Ugh. Sad to say.....

It works perfectly against the moss. I have two very small pieces of it that I always try to photograph against, but alas, too small. If you see me in the backyard, I'm just "borrowing" the moss.
