For the past year I've had a major crush on the paintings by Chelsea James. Now she has expanded her talents on Etsy with various prints and sketches. Yay! The roller skate sketches immediately caught my attention - perfect for a fun living room or kid room.

is it too much of a stretch to say this style reminds me of polaroids? perhaps it's the milk, ephermeral flavor.... beautiful.

I miss this type of simple kids roller skate. I loved them when I was younger, but could never find them for my own kids. Now, whenever I see an image of them I always think of the '70's song "Brand New Key" by Melanie, (I loved that song) and all the many hours I spent skating on my own pair of metal roller skates!
