Inspiring Interiors

A lofty bed, warm colors, and a cozy tub look and sound wonderful. Stylist Twig Hutchinson has been around the blog block, but I love these photos and have a hard time resisting beautiful interiors. I appreciate her detail for fashion elements, faded walls, and vintage items. Doesn't that tub also look amazing?

On a side note, I apologize for the lack in posts. It's been hectic in my gray cubicle and I've been mentally sorting through new year resolutions and ideas. I might continue doing one post a day so I have time to concentrate on other areas of my life. Believe me...I would love to be a full time blogger and do lots of posts a day! We'll see how things work out. I fully enjoy blogging and appreciate your readership...thank you for hanging in there with me (cyber hugs and kisses!).

Love them all, but especially he top image.

Hang in there on the workload.... it is hard to juggle everything, especially because you clearly work to maintain a very high standard!

i love them all, but the yellow dress is wonderful. i'm happy to do 2-3 posts a week. it was getting to be too much online time for me to do more.

I think I may try this hanging of a colored dress :) I'm sure it's not meant to be home decor but I love it!

I love that first bed. And want to crawl in it right now. :-) I've seen before and it inspired me to buy a "lady portrait" for next to a bed in our guest room. Which I've just remembered I've never posted my new lady friend painting on the blog. Because, like you, I'm struggling to blog! I commend you for getting once a day...I'm excited when I can do twice a week anymore. :-)

Hon, one post a day is no reason to apologize! I love seeing your posts and I'm sticking around!
Good luck in cubicle land.

I was trying for awhile to do two posts a day and it was taking quite a lot of time. So I know exactly how you feel. One a day is plenty for me from you because you always post such fabulous things. Like for instance today, I love those shoes in that last photo!

Lovely and peaceful. Except for the first picture of the lady looking at the bed. I would have to move her someplace else. But I have seen that bathroom before with the yellow dress hanging in it, LOVE it...

I love the use of that yellow dress as a piece of art. Why hang it in a closet only to be seen now and then?

Lovely inspiration!

On another note...why you're not a full-time blogger, I'll never know. [Oh, wait, I know -- you have to make a living. Me too! ;) ] Your content is fresh and unique and you're a great writer. Good things to come for you, Diana! I just know it. :)

i totally understand how you feel, diana! i think with exploration and hard work, we'll get to that point where our days are filled with creative work that does not involve sitting in an uninspiring beige/gray/blue cubicle.

A post a day is more than sufficient. Your posts always have such substance. I always enjoy reading what comes with the beautiful pictures.

I love the lamp next to the bed. Looking for some just like it.

I agree, her work is inspiring! I really do love every photo you posted. And don't feel bad for cutting back on posting if you decide to do that! What you post is always interesting and thoughtful, and I will continue to look forward to reading it, regardless of the number of posts. Take time to concentrate on other areas of your life! Balance is so important (note to self- head your own advice...)

Oh my, her work is so beautiful! I love the soft focus, almost ethereal feel. Just lovely. As always, thanks for sharing, regardless of how often, I always enjoy your posts!
