Found Vintage Style

Loving these vintage finds available at Found Vintage Style. I like the silver plated cream & sugar set used as vases. They are classic, yet not too fancy. Wouldn't they be a nice touch on a mantel or desk?

Sorry to be brief, but I'm feeling sickly today. Everyone is sick at work and I am a magnet to other people's sickness. I am NOT down with O.P.S. (other people's sickness). Ok, the cough medicine must really be kicking in now because I'm referencing an early 90's song from Naughty by Nature.

OH...but big news...IKEA comes to North Carolina! Apparently there was lots of freaking out, hours of waiting and even people camping out for sales. This is HUGE for us. I can't wait to go and buy cheap bookcases. Recession...what?

I'll be back in the groove soon...what's up on your end of the world?

I love the cream and sugar set {especially as vases}.
Ikea...yay for you. A tip: wait a week or so before going. I went to ours on opening weekend and it was packed like sardines. : ) Once things settle down, you're going to love having one near you.

Hope you feel better soon. ~Suzanne

i feel fine. i have two days left at my current job and i just found out i have to train the bosses daughter. i dont want to train the full time gal, let alone a part time offspring with a makeup line of the guy that screwed me over for a 1 year and 3 months.

other than that, i am fab!

That silver tray is awesome. It would be great on your desk to old odds and ends.

It seems many of my blogging friends are sick this week! Hope you are feeling better soon.

Oh Ikea coming there in NC? Great news! One of my very down-to-earth shops here. Istanbul we have more than 3 Ikeas. I know you'll enjoy w/ Ikea's great solutions, esp room and kitchen styles.

Greetings from chilly rainy Istanbul to your part of the world~

O.P.S!!! haha hah!!! that is so funny!!!! sorry to laugh at that, and i hope you feel better soon. :) :(

and congrats on getting an ikea in your neck of the woods. they have some cool stuff and most is actually AFFORDABLE!!!! i hope they have a good parking situation, as the one in burbank is HORRID and a huge deterrent to shopping there (kind of hard to explain, but you can't park near ikea and if you buy stuff that is heavy you better bring a partner that can go get your car while you wait with your stuff in the loading area -- LAME)!

oh.. i love ikea. you just have to find your "ikea zen" before going. the ikea zen keeps you calm as children run past you screaming... and people hit you with their carts as they try and see what you are looking at.

oh.. and eat before going - man are those stores huge!

My grandmother gave me a purse of hers that is over 60 years old that looks exactly like the one you shared here. I love it. I wore it at my wedding and I treasure it. I cannot wait to give it to my daughter one day.
