It's been one of those weeks...and I'm glad the weekend is a little bit closer. Valentine's Day - what? I've put it at the end of my to-do list thus the lack in V-day related posts. I don't make a big deal out of Valentine's Day although I do love those NECCO candy hearts with phrases like, "Luv U" and "Text Me." Do you have a favorite Valentine's candy or tradition?
I'm getting off track, so how about some inspiring interiors? Joe Schmelzer photographs interiors filled with pops of color and refreshing designs. My attention is drawn to the framed wall art and red scale. I also love the colorful apron photo, which makes me want to start an apron collection. These interiors create a perfect daydream sequence and are great for getting my mind off work!
that wall of black and white frames is to die for!
ReplyDeleteOh I know! Must have taken forever to put up!
ReplyDeletei am now inspired, thank you!
ReplyDeletewow, i really love this apron photo!!
ReplyDeletethat wall of photos is super cool, it is like one giant piece of art.

ReplyDeleteDelicious, all around!
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful pictures, but that wall of photos makes me want to look at each picture and hear it's story.
ReplyDeletei love the aprons and the turquoise chairs. lovely, fresh and vibrant!
ReplyDeleteLove the headboard in the first picture.
ReplyDeletelove the apron shot - so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThose aprons have me wanting to bake something yummy for Valentines Day.
ReplyDeletewhy don't i live in one of those houses? sigh. and i love that bottom photo! it makes me want to be out in the springtime air immediately!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, those bright blue chairs are incredible! Second of all, gasp, that kitchen! Oh my goodness, the stove, the tile!
ReplyDeleteI just love that old stove! I used to have one and I want another. I loved everything about it. And I am really loving all those black and white photos on the wall. I've seen a few pics similar to the one you have up and am really feeling that look. I may have to do it in my house now! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a nice comment!
ReplyDeleteThat apron pic is lovely! What would look AWESOME would be if you cut out parts of different aprons and frame them, and put them up in a kitchen. But have enough of the apron showing that people would know it was an apron.
ReplyDeleteOK, I think I am about to steal my own idea, hehehe.
Love your site, thanks for visiting mine - so glad you did!
Eeek. Valentine's Day. I feel I should be doing something, but we don't usually, so eek. I do like the apron pic. Hmm, suitably distracting.
ReplyDeleteI love the framed photos too! I have been going for something similar here at my house but it isn't packing the same punch as this. Maybe in time. Nope, no Valentines Day tradition here. We pretty much don't celebrate it because both our birthdays plus our anniversary fall in a 20 day span that includes VDay - something had to go :)
ReplyDeleteyes, when can I move in? :)
ReplyDeleteHe is amazing!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove love love these interior shots. Especially the beautifully expertly cluttered gallery wall! Beautiful
ReplyDeletehow did you break into my house and photograph all of its fabulousness. kidding. i WISH that was my house.
ReplyDelete1. black and white floor
ReplyDelete2. fireplace
3. amazing mirror above bed
i now have even bigger expectations for my dream home/apt...and i really like how it's not overdone in her space. it's just right.
p.s. want to trade links? i know it's so 5th grade of me to ask.
I could live in that house-- the kitchen especially. And those aprons!--so dreamy. (I kind of have a collection going myself...) Sometimes I bake delicious sugar cookies (with lemon zest) and share them with friends. (but mostly, I just eat them.) we'll see.
ReplyDeleteSending Valentine xoxo's your way, GG
What a great post! I love the kitchens, both the black cabinets and the white one with the checkered floor. Also, I thought the aprons were really colorful prayer flags at first. Either way, they're absolutely beautiful and make me want some prayer flags!
ReplyDeleteI love everything in the first 5 photos!!
ReplyDeleteI love chocolate all year round...not just on valentine's day:)
ReplyDeleteAnd these photos are amazing. I love every single one of them. I really want one of those starburst mirrors and that photo gallery wall is precisely what I'm trying to do in my office. getting there but not quite...this photo is definitely helpful. thank you!!
I like the photo with the aprons and the kitcheh pics. I have been noticing a lot of black lately for kitchens. You are half way there for the weekend to come! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of in love. :)
ReplyDeleteEach of these photos is better than the last. LOVE.
ReplyDeleteI love the light and airy feel of these spaces! I am adding you to my blogroll, PRONTO. ;>)
ReplyDeleteLOVE all photos. Everything in its place... crisp... clean... NICE!
ReplyDeletei love it all! especially the black kitchen and that living space with the big black rug.
ReplyDeletei'm not big on v-day either, but if someone does happen to get me something that's always nice. :-)
Love, love those last three images!! I too now want to start an apron collection.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, The wall of photos is awesome, appears to be black and white....love it.
ReplyDeleteI love those little candy hearts. I've never seen them in 'real' life (I think they must be an American thing), so I romanticise them an absurd amount.
ReplyDeleteAnd for Valentines this year, my beloved and I are going to the Museum of Science and Technology. Ah, nerd love.
Love the white room, happy valentines :D
ReplyDeleteOh, these are truly gorgeous!
ReplyDeletesooooo pretty! i love the clothesline and all the framed pictures clustered...very inspiring! yes!
ReplyDeleteApron is eye candy, Di. FYI, I do have an apron collection, mostly vintage ones. Did I tell you that I'm an antique collectioner? Oh yes, I love vintages and old treasures. In fact, my apron collection is quite new, only a few yrs older. I'd advice you to start on it.
ReplyDeleteBtw, Joe's a talent, n'joyed viewing his works. Any luck to meet him;)
All great images, but I adore the aprons! I've got a small collection of vintage aprons and I love wearing them. super practical.
ReplyDeleteoh..I just found your blog from S.hoptalk, and I'm so happy I did! I'm peeking thru now..love so much about it..yes sir, please sir, I'm a follower!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this laundry pic!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful and very inspiring!
ReplyDeletelove that vintage stove!
ReplyDeletei am all about the white background with pops of color lately. that is the idea behind our current house remodel... ah that is if we ever get to paint. thanks for the comment earlier. it's appreciated.
ReplyDeleteOh the teal chairs really, really catch my eye, I love all these inspirations, each one has something I like but I LOVE those chairs...
ReplyDeleteOh my God. That photo wall is KILLER!!
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of Honor Fraser! I miss her . . .
ReplyDeleteThat kitchen with the black and white floor reminds me of my first apartment out of college. It was a total dump, but if I had just a little more money (actually, I had NO money then. :-) and was as into thrifty and vintage as I am know (I was then, just a totally different style) I would make that kitchen SING! And I would totally paint it that color in the photo above. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is looking fine, You can decorate your Interiors with casamodern’s designer products.
