I am delighted to see fabric used in a whole new way with these objects by Neta Amir. Although not particularly functional, they do make lovely, tactile and delicate art pieces. If I saw these in person I would want to touch and play with them. I could imagine a whole stack of these fabric plates and cups in a store display or photo shoot. What can I say...fabric makes me excited!

love the soft dishes!
I usually only go for useful things, but I have to admit I agree with you. I just want to play with these.
Those are the plates I need. I wouldn't have to wash dishes anymore. I could just play dishes.

Yes - they are very play worthy!

this is so cool! the teacups are so cute!
i love all the texture and the flow of the fabric.
Oh I LOVE those cups & saucers!
i love the tea cups & saucers, too!
Love the fabric teacups.
These are SO amazing! The teacups would be perfect for holding rings or baubles.
Very cool. I love it when artists use unexpected mediums.
Never mind useful, they're too cool! On the other hand: they actually could be useful for all the tiny and ugly stuff that seems to be breeding in one's apartment. I would love to put my cell phone charger in one of these cups! And bf's in another... and our iPods in the two next...
oh, I definitley want to play with them too!
These could be fun to play with on a rainy day, having a picnic inside.
these are great. simple but such great texture.
I've never seen anything like it. gosh you find the most fabulous things.
aww how cute!
Wowee!
i think i enjoy textiles the most when they are used in totally unexpected ways like this.
intriguing indeed! love the little cups.
