Vintage Notions

I love all the little goodies available at Papier Valise, an online store with unique and vintage art provisions. Their lovely novelty items are perfect for packaging, collage art or memory scrapbooks. I mean really, can you ever have enough vintage fold over tickets, ink labels, German paper trim, Keep in Refrigerator labels, number ribbon or red octagon labels?

I think we should stock our wooden card catalog full of these items! Sound good?

Oh perfection! My favourite is the 'non-smut' ink labels. I can think of a thousand hilarious uses for those!

They are vintage.. but would you know the red/white tags remind me of something I saw in a sewing factory once where my Grandma used to work.. (getting jeans by the loads was fun as a kid)!

You said the magic words -- "card catalog." Anything is fabulous when held in one, but these little notions are particularly charming.
