Colorful ceramics lined in a row...simple and beautiful. Marie Torbensdatter Hermann's ceramics remind me of a calender or life cycle. Each day is different, like each vessel is unique with varying heights and pops of bright yellow. Maybe the happy or memorable days are filled with yellow?
These cheer me up as I am sick AGAIN...I can't believe it. I think it's our kooky weather with snow last week and high 70's this week. Crazy! Although I can't complain because through all the sneezing and nose blowing I still love the warm weather.
This week, here's to filling our personal vessels with happiness and sunshine yellow....
Oh these are so cheerful!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon. Hopefully consistent warmth is not far away now!
OH no, not sick again!
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon--and in the meantime take all the pleasure you can from these gorgeous ceramics. I love their wobbly shapes!
GORGEOUS! wow, i love yellow so much.
ReplyDeleteSorry you're sick, it must be that crazy weather!

You poor thing! Get plenty of rest. Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteThey remind me of that light sculpture that spells something. Do you know which one I mean?
ReplyDeleteSorry you aren't feeling well. Just returned from the doctor with my daughter....she has strep again. My kids are rarely ever sick and this season it has been one thing after another. The doctor said it is the worst season he has seen in a very long time.....if that makes you feel any better.
I'm so sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Oh man, this has been quite the season for you! These vessels certainly lift my spirits! Thank you dearest!
ReplyDeleteMy boyfriend is down with a nasty cold and I'm crossing my fingers (in futility, I think) that I don't get it too. Feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI am sick to... this vessel remind me spring time... I am waiting for warm wheather

Yellow is my very favorite color - these are lovely. I like your thoughts on it looking like a calendar. Perhaps the bigger vessels in the back are ongoing projects, placed on the back burner, but looming in one's mind as Things That Must Be Taken Care Of.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!
I think all the world knows one fact abt me, being the daughter of Mr Sun:)
