Thirsty

This morning I really enjoyed reading the Building a Home & Finding Yourself post on Design*Sponge by Marichelle of Heart Handmade. I believe her honest post will resonate with many struggling to find their style and create a home. Plus, her list of favorite items are great to explore like these glasses from YAVAglass. The glasses are made from recycled soda bottles and polished to provide a smooth finished rim. Aren't they fun?! They also make me thirsty...

These glasses are so cool - I especially love the "Bubble Up" ones. What a great way to recycle and to put a little vintage in your kitchen. Great find.

They're adorable! And remind me of the 7Up glasses I hunted down for my hubs: The kind that look like inverted Coke glasses.

What a GREAT idea! FUN too! My kids love to go to a deli in our neighborhood that sells old brand sodas in bottles... a FUN blast from the past... they think they're cool too!

I've been looking through etsy to find recycled bottle glasses for a friend's birthday...I hopped over to this etsy store just now and saw some cute little creme soda bottle glasses. I think we may have a winner! :-)

I love these! My parents actually have some sort of tool for cutting glass, and they've been making themselves glasses out of old wine bottles for years. Maybe I'll convince them to make some for me out of soda bottles.
