Up, Up and Away

Portland based artist Eva Speer uses imagery such as shiny objects, scenic images and the cosmos to explore the differing perceptions of reality. The end results are dreamy, three dimensional paintings that bring you into a faraway galaxy, maybe even heaven. These inspiring pieces have a unique look I haven't seen before, and I can only imagine their breathtaking presence in an interior space.

Don't these paintings take you away to space or some special place? They make me want to dream even more...what are you dreaming about today?

these are great! dreaming about the weekend. . . and eventually quitting my boring day job to start my own business. (my heart and mind have already quit--yikes!)

I wish I could see these in person. I love all cosmos-related things ...

Dreaming today of Paris. I'll be there in a couple of weeks.

Beautiful colors...I especially love those inky blues. And dreaming of...a little vacation doing nothing at all, absolutely nothing at all!

I adore these images. When I was little, I used to get high just thinking about the vastness of space. I know, I'm a geek. So sue me.
