Colorful Ceramics

Colorful ceramics bring joy to the world. They make me very happy...or maybe it's because I took the day off and it's Friday? Either way I love these collections of ceramics and stoneware. Can I just have a wall and yard full of these items?!

From top to bottom:
1. James Shrosbree, Plates
2. Paul Kotula, Setting for One
3. J Schatz, Multicolor Happening Curtain
4. J Schatz, Bird Houses

Those hanging birdfeeders(?) are adorable, like little easter chic eggs!
Good on your for taking Friday off! Everyone needs one of those once in a while. I took half a day of Friday off last week and it was SO needed and nice.

I'm so jealous! I wish I had taken the day off too! Oh well... there's always next week!

I love these pictures, although the pricetag on the colorful plates makes me sad, because I want them. And the bird houses are just sooo cool! But I'm not sure that we have chickadees in Texas, so I'm not sure they'd get much use. Maybe if they came bigger for the sparrows? We do have those!

Gasp!
I love colorful ceramics!
The other day I found the most beautiful yellow, ceramic bird feeder that looked like a sea urchin.
Brought it to the cashier to pay for it and while waiting it just fell off of its chain and shattered into a million pieces!
Anyways, still fond of the colors!

I was in a show with Jim Shrosbree and Paul Kotula a couple of years ago. I love both their work!
