Found Font at Liberty

You saw the furniture pieces at the Liberty Antique Festival, now let's take a look at objects with inspiring, retro font. I love the vintage Duncan Hines ice cream containers - the font and colors are perfect. I'm not sure how you could use them...maybe for plants or holding pens/utensils? Either way they are oh-so-neat. Other items included worn suitcases complete with travel stickers, vintage cake and spice holders and of course - colorful clocks. Seeing all these clocks makes me want to start a wall full of bright, vintage clocks - wouldn't that be fun?

Next up...Color & Collections found at Liberty...stay tuned!

I love those vintage suitcases!!! I have a few of my own that I cherish....I had actually used them to display my BFA pieces about my families journey to America.

Great photos! Here in Norway, flea markets are starting to appear everywhere, since it's spring. I love the rummaging through the boxes!

Adore those old containers! I have a vintage "Country Sweet" Cottage Cheese container, with great red and green farm family graphics sitting right by my computer!

Who stopped putting stickers on your suitcase when you went cool places? It should come back, fonts especially.

Something about those empty Duncan Hines containers is SO evocative of tasty ice cream ... how can a font DO that?
