I've spent a good part of my morning ohh-ing and ahh-ing over the interior portfolio of Sarah Richardson. In a recent interview on Design*Sponge, Stephanie Vogler mentioned Sarah Richardson as her favorite Canadian designer. I knew I had to check her out after Vogler's great comments on Richardson's magazine features, television programs, interior design business and furniture collections. These rooms are so peaceful and the rectangle sconce on the mirror in the dining room is beautiful. I love white interiors, especially with dark wood floors, it feels so ethereal and glamorous. I must have color, but I wish I could do this in my home. I don't have a white wall or ceiling though I may be doing a guest room in French black and white, but it seems to have been done so much that I am rethinking that idea. Any suggestions?
These are really nice! Seeing the picture with the seating at the base of the stairs makes me wish I had a real "entry way" into our house. As it is you just wlak right into the living room.
There is a calm, casual, elegance to them that I really like. Her choice of chairs is perfection.
