I've spent a good part of my morning ohh-ing and ahh-ing over the interior portfolio of Sarah Richardson. In a recent interview on Design*Sponge, Stephanie Vogler mentioned Sarah Richardson as her favorite Canadian designer. I knew I had to check her out after Vogler's great comments on Richardson's magazine features, television programs, interior design business and furniture collections. One link lead to another and I was instantly drooling over Richardson's comprehensive and inspiring website - check it out here! Don't you love the accessory and lighting choices?
I find her design work to always have a calming affect.

ReplyDeleteThese rooms are so peaceful and the rectangle sconce on the mirror in the dining room is beautiful. I love white interiors, especially with dark wood floors, it feels so ethereal and glamorous. I must have color, but I wish I could do this in my home. I don't have a white wall or ceiling though I may be doing a guest room in French black and white, but it seems to have been done so much that I am rethinking that idea. Any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteThese are really nice! Seeing the picture with the seating at the base of the stairs makes me wish I had a real "entry way" into our house. As it is you just wlak right into the living room.
ReplyDeleteThere is a calm, casual, elegance to them that I really like. Her choice of chairs is perfection.
