Found Love

During my morning ride to work I discovered these adorable signs posted on the side of the road. A combination of driving, looking, swerving, scouting...and one by one the signs became more sweet and sincere. I have no idea who or what they were intended for, but they touched my heart and brought a little happiness to my day. Even when they fall down they make a perfect statement. What love did you find today?

Very touching both in imagining the lovely story behind these signs and in you stopping to appreciate them (and share them).

oh! how sweet. um, i had some sweet love from my two and three quarter year old daughter Iris. it's the nicest thing when she tells me unprompted that she loves me.

Maybe they are part of a proposal? Maybe there is one inside a house somewhere that we never got to see. :) I love the possibilities of the true story.

Just before I read this post, I was reading the poems and vows from my wedding, 9 years ago. What a coincidence! It's nice to remember, in the midst of trying times, that there really is love in the world.

I love the first photo. True love is eternal, even if that sign isn't.

No marriage proposal at the end of these? I saw that once!
And my mother used to ride her bike to work everyday years ago and her boyfriend left her signs like this (different sayings)... she was quite embarassed.
How would I react... hmmmm

Once, a guy in our neighborhood proposed to his girlfriend by posting signs all over that read: "Teresa, will you marry me?" I imagine her driving home from work and seeing them all over the place. So sweet!
