Tidbits

I have a confession...I'm slightly obsessed with my Diana Mini camera. But, you probably already knew that. I had unused film after the beach trip, so I filled it with a heart shaped leaf, feet photos of co-workers, hay collectors and a great double exposure photo of the beach and a local farm. The last image was unintentional, yet it's one of my favorites. The overlapping water to grass makes it feel like you are in two beautiful places at once.

Hopefully you enjoy the Diana Mini photos because there are more beach photos coming soon! I promise to mix in interiors and artists along the way. Here's to a happy week ahead...

I really like the overlapping of the two images... I have the medium-format Diana, and the mini seems interesting, too. There's just something about square photos - they become more of artifacts on their own.

I agree - they are different in a good way.

I love the double exposed image! I did a project like this at art school, over laying architectural shots from the Glasgow skyline and flowers from the Botanic Gardens. Such fun! Off to check out what a Diana is.

Don't worry....I'm obsessed too. I got a Diana recently and got my film back from my first roll...didn't turn out EXACTLY as I had hoped but i guess that's the fun of them. But these are exactly the look I'm going for! They are great! Did you use expired film?

These are great! The last one is the very best! I love accidental shots like that. They just don't happen with digital. Which is sad...

Absolutely lovely! I've got a Diana but still need to finish the film inside of it; your shots have me hankering to get moving so I can see how they turn out. Great work!

I love the "happy accident" nature of Diana's. Do you develop yourself?
