Saturday was filled with inspiring sights from the Rock and Shop Vintage Market in Durham, NC. The venue was amazing along with the endless array of talented designers and vendors. The show was packed (yay for vintage!) and I managed to snap a few photos from the fashion show. If you look closely at the top model you will notice a vintage owl necklace, which is very similar to the owl necklace I found at a yard sale. Pretty neat, eh? And although not related to the show, I enjoyed the clever re-purpose of red construction pieces turned plant holders found outside the venue.
At the event I also meet two wonderful NC bloggers...Michelle Smith, producer of The Rock & Shop Market and founder of indieNC, as well as Ellie Snow from Mint. For a detailed recap of the market and craft show experience check out Ellie's post here. It's so nice to meet local bloggers and put a face behind their online presence. Here's to a motivated week ahead...
