Thank You

Thank you. Thank you for your support and understanding during this difficult time. Thank you for your heartfelt and comforting comments. Thank you for your patience and hanging in there with me.

As you can imagine these past two weeks without my Mom have been quite hard. Support from friends, Chai tea and grilled cheese have helped me get through the long days. Today I finally sat down and looked at my overloaded Google Reader and was comforted by this installation by Martin Creed found via Booooooom. My Mom loved Please Sir and would want me to continue posting inspiring art, design and of course...vintage finds. So, as hard as it may be without her...I will slowly make my way back here and reassure myself that everything is going to be alright. Thank you again for your kindness and love.

dear girl - there's no rush. there's no short cut to grieving, you just have to take your time, greet each day the best you can and try to move forward. it's super-hard. but i think you're going to be okay. and then maybe one day even more than okay. i wish you and your family continuing strength.

Diana,
To say I am sorry does not even begin to indicate the depth of my sadness for you and this huge loss you've experienced. Please accept my most heartfelt condolences. I imagine this void will never really heal, but I hope that in
the very near future your memories will be happy ones. Your relationship with your mother sounds like a true gift and I know
you will treasure that gift forever. Whatever you need to do to mend your heart, take the time it will require. Big, big hugs your way.

I am thinking of you and am thankful that you will have lots of friends and family surrounding you in the coming weeks with the holiday season. Take your time in coming back. We'll all be here and the internet can wait for now. Lots of love to you:)

There are certainly no blog "rules" (in my humble opinion at least!) so I say post when you can, and when you feel inspired to. And we'll all be here.

Take good care of yourself.
