Merry Christmas

This holiday season remember to care, love and share in one another. Remember the people and ideas that are important to you. Embrace your loved ones. Give a helping hand. Enjoy a good laugh. Be thankful.

This Christmas is extremely hard for me with my mother's recent passing, but I take comfort in remembrance and love. I remember our traditions of Christmas Eve pajamas, Garfield ornaments, oranges in our stockings and dancing to The Ronettes holiday soundtrack. There are no words to express my emotions, only that I hope to live as young hearted and caring as my amazing mother. I can't help but smile when I see this old photograph of her and Santa (who may need a place on Sketchy Santas). So, here's to a holiday filled with smiles from past memories, laughs from new memories and the warmth of love...Merry Christmas.

Oh, Diana, I know it must be hard. But I'm sure your mum is looking down on you all, wanting you to enjoy your time together. Having fun from afar. My thoughts are with you all. Merry Xmas. Kxo

It sounds to me that even though it's been hard, she's given you traditions to carry on, and ain't that the cycle of life ... treasure those memories and tell people why you're doing what you're doing today and this season. Merry Christmas.

Memories of Christmases past collide to make the holidays sweet, yet melancholy. Lovely memories though. Joyeux Noel.

Your mom clearly was an amazing woman to have you as one of her legacies. And as hard is it is for you, you are lucky you had the time together with her. My wishes for a healthy, happy, rewarding and healing year ahead.
